One Arraignment So Far In Milford Gambling Ring

So far there has been just one arraignment in connection with an alleged gambling ring busted up by Milford Police last week. The Daily News reports Zoila Castro has pleaded not guilty to one count of illegally selling liquor in relation to what police are calling a large ring of backyard parties that included illegal wagering as well as illegal alcohol, food and tobacco sales. Also arrested was Luis Loja-Caguana for allegedly having a house of gaming but his arraignment was postponed. More arrests are expected.
