MASSACHUSETTS – With the FIFA World Cup set to bring seven matches to Gillette Stadium, officials are reminding fans to be cautious when purchasing tickets.

The initial ticket lottery closed in January, and any remaining tickets will be sold through FIFA’s official website and mobile app, as well as its verified resale marketplace.

Officials warn that most tickets are digital and accessed through the FIFA app, meaning paper tickets or screenshots being sold by third parties are likely fraudulent.
