No Threat Found After Reported Weapon Triggers Grafton High Lockdown

Grafton’s Police Chief says a Tuesday lockdown at Grafton High School was due to an allegation that there was a dangerous weapon on school property. Chief Neil Minardi says as soon as they responded they worked closely with school officials to enact the lock-down while they did a search and investigation to determine the authenticity and location of the weapon which turned out to be off school property, Minardi says they determined there was no threat to the school or the community. He did not say who reported the suspected weapon.
