Nipmuc High Leads Statewide Climate Change Education Training

Last week they hosted a Climate Change Challenge kickoff event to train educators from 43 school districts on how to engage K-12 students in climate change education and action. It included presenters from several science and tech agencies and institutes from across the country. The yearlong program was developed by Nipmuc science teacher and 2024 Massachusetts STEM Teacher of the Year Jim Gorman with help from Nipmuc history teacher and 2024 Massachusetts History Teacher of the Year Darcy Daniels.
