UPTON – Nipmuc Regional High School students are strengthening their writing skills — and each other — with the launch of a new peer writing center. The Nipmuc Writing Center is staffed by a newly formed group of Writing Fellows, students selected not only for their strong writing abilities but also for their leadership qualities.
These Writing Fellows will provide support to their classmates, collaborate on writing projects, and help create a more supportive academic environment. They also plan to host themed, school-wide writing events throughout the year and even assist local fourth graders in learning how to start their own newspaper.
