WESTBOROUGH — The annual “Night in the Cold” fundraiser has raised more than $21,000 for the Westborough Food Pantry.
Now in its sixth year, the volunteer-led effort raises awareness about people living on the edge of homelessness while also collecting donations to support local assistance programs.
Four volunteers spent the night outdoors on February 27 and 28 collecting contributions. The Community Advocate reports the event has raised about $110,000 for local organizations since it began, with the Westborough Food Pantry serving as this year’s beneficiary.
