HOPKINTION – A new neighborhood is reportedly being proposed off Hopkinton’s Blueberry Lane. At their meeting Tuesday the Conservation Commission continued a hearing on an idea for five homes on a proposed Myrtle Avenue that would be built off Blueberry Lane. The Hopkinton Independent reports the developer says use was approved in the late 1980s, before current standards were put in place regarding placement and buffer zones so each proposed individual home went into detailed discussion. Neighbors of the proposed development expressed concerns about the potential for flooding. Ultimately the Conservation Commission decided to continue the hearing until August 8.
