Motorcyclist Injured in Bellingham Crash; Bike Hits Home After Rider Thrown

A motorcyclist is in the hospital following a Monday afternoon accident in Bellingham.  Bellingham Police and Fire were called out around 1pm to Center Street at Park Street where the motorcycle and a car collided. Police say the 68-year-old biker from Cumberland flew off the bike but his injuries are not life-threatening. The motorcycle, meanwhile, continued without the driver for a significant distance until it crashed into the front door of a home. The residents were pretty startled but Police say no one was hurt. The driver of the car was also not hurt. The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
