Missed Stop Sign Leads to Two-Vehicle Crash in Hopkinton; Both Drivers Hospitalized

A missed stop sign is said to be the cause of a crash in Hopkinton on Wednesday morning on School Street. A police department spokesman tells the Hopkinton Independent after an SUV failed to stop at the sign on School at West Elm it collided with another SUV. One driver had to be extricated from their car by firefighters, and both drivers were hurt and taken to hospitals. There is no update on their condition. Police say the driver who missed the stop sign was cited.
