FRANKLIN – If you can’t win a billion dollars, a million is a pretty good consolation prize, and someone in Franklin may have done just that. Lottery officials say three one million dollar winning tickets were sold in Massachusetts for the Wednesday, July 19 Powerball drawing. One of them was reportedly sold at Shaw’s Supermarket on East Central Street in Franklin. So far there is no indication of the winner coming forward or how much Shaw’s will net from selling the ticket. The billion dollar winning ticket was sold in Los Angeles.
