MILFORD – Milford’s Annual Tree Lighting ceremony is coming up next week, with festivities set for Friday, December 5 at Draper Memorial Park. Citizens for Milford says starting at 5:30 p.m. they will have soup, cookies, brownies, and hot chocolate, offering a warm and festive start to the evening.
Families can enjoy a holiday carol sing-along with the Greater Milford Community Chorus before Santa arrives around 5:45 p.m. to visit and take pictures. The tree will be lit at 6:30 p.m., marking the official start of the holiday season in Milford.
Citizens for Milford says the event is made possible by a grant from the Milford Cultural Council.
