Milford’s Eighth Annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony is set for Friday December 1 in Draper Memorial Park. Citizens for Milford says all residents are invited to the free community event starting at 5:30 p.m. for cookies, hot chocolate, and chili with the tree lit at 6:30 p.m. Highlights will include the holiday carol sing-along led by members of the Greater Milford Community Chorus, as well as a special visit from Santa Claus who will be there until 7pm and families are encouraged to take your own photos with Santa.
