A Milford woman with an alleged history of shoplifting has been caught and is charged with drug possession as well. Milford Police say on February 28 officers were called to TJ Maxx on Medway Road for a shoplifting incident. The store’s loss prevention staff claimed that Michelle Howerton had stolen several items and had been previously captured shoplifting on surveillance video there on previous dates. While booking her into the jail, police allege they found more than 9 grams of packaged cocaine on her.
