Milford Veterans Day Parade to Honor Veterans with Ceremonies and Bagpipe Tribute

By MyFM’s Claire BeverlyMilford’s Veterans Day Parade starts at 10am on Veterans Memorial Parkway and marches up East Main Street to Calzone Park where a wreath ceremony will take place, led by Grand Marshal Robert Pavia who is a retired Milford Police detective and veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Following that ceremony, the parade will continue up Main Street to the Draper War Memorial where a ceremony will take place sponsored by Citizens for Milford. The ceremony begins at approximately 11am. This year it will include the Waters Corporation Veterans Employee Resource Group presenting a wreath at the World War I monument with Milford Fire Lieutenant Scott Keefe performing on bagpipes.
