MILFORD — It’s a festive weekend in Milford, beginning with the tenth annual Christmas Tree Lighting tonight at Draper Memorial Park. Citizens for Milford is hosting the celebration, inviting all Milford residents to stop by starting at 5:30 p.m. for free hot chocolate, cookies, brownies, and soup. The tree will be lit at 6:30 p.m., followed by a holiday carol sing-along with members of the Greater Milford Community Chorus. Santa will also be on hand for families to take photos.
The festivities continue on Sunday with Milford’s Welcome Santa Parade, which steps off at 4:30 p.m.
