By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Milford Schools Superintendent Kevin McIntyre is reportedly on the short list to be the Superintendent for Leominster schools. The Leominster School Committee announced Tuesday that McIntyre is one of three finalists for the job. McIntyre tells the Daily News it was an opportunity that came his way and he is honored to be in the final running. The Leominster School Committee reportedly plans to hold some public forums to meet the candidates plus there are more interviews and a public survey, so there is no date yet as to when a decision will be made, but current Leominster Superintendent Paula Deacon announced earlier this year that she will be retiring at the end of the school year so whoever replaces her would likely start July 1.
