The Milford Select Board is pleased to announce the award of a Fiscal Year 2022/2023 Community Development Fund grant in the amount of up to $1,324,037 from the Massachusetts Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.
The Healey Administration announced the Town of Milford received the entirety of the Community Development Block Grant it had applied for to be used for renovations at Milford Town Park. The grant will culminate in new walkways, fencing, lighting, all new basketball courts, ADA compliant pathways, parking, and equipment, a new outdoor exercise gym/fitness center, and will constitute one of the most significant projects Downtown Milford has seen in years.
The Grant was written by resident Mitch Ruscitti working in conjunction with Jim Asam (Parks Director), and Rick Villani (Town Administrator).
