Milford Residents Reminded to Return Annual Town Census to Maintain Voter Status

The Annual Street Listings, also known as the Annual Town Census, has been mailed to all Milford households and the Town Clerk reminds you that you must return it every year even if there are no changes to the form. They say you may need to prove that you or your children lived in Milford or in Massachusetts during a certain time period and the street list for that year is the proof of residency. Also, registered voters who don’t return the form will be designated an “inactive” voter and will only be eligible to vote after filling out an “Affirmation of Current and Continuous Residence” the next time you vote.
