REGION – Milford Regional Medical Center will host a free, monthly support group for family members of loved ones afflicted with Frontotemporal Degeneration (FTD) or others impacted by the condition. The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD) will lead the monthly meetings.

An initial meet and greet will be held on Saturday, March 25 at 10 a.m. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Future meetings will be held the last Saturday of each month from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

FTD is the most commonly diagnosed dementia in individuals under the age of 65. The condition initially impacts behavior or language and, like all dementias, it is neurodegenerative. To learn more about FTD, visit theaftd.org.
