MILFORD – More than 2,200 homes and businesses in Milford lost power during a widespread outage Wednesday afternoon that affected nearly 17% of local customers, according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency.
Among the locations impacted were Milford Town Hall and the Milford Public Library. Utility crews worked throughout the day to restore service, with most customers regaining power by approximately 7 PM. Officials are still investigating the exact cause of the outage.
