MILFORD — Gun owners are getting a reminder from Milford Police regarding License to Carry (LTC) and Firearms Identification (FID) card renewals.
Officials say that even if renewal applicants submit their paperwork through the online portal, payment must still be dropped off in person at Milford Police Dispatch or the application will not be processed. The renewal fee is $100 and must be paid by check or money order only, made payable to “The Town of Milford.” Applicants who are 70 years of age or older are not required to pay a fee.
Police also note that new applicants must appear in person for fingerprinting. Fingerprinting appointments are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
