By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Milford Police Department is launching a new Autism Awareness Patch. Tomorrow, April 2, is World Autism Awareness Day, and the Department will begin taking pre-orders for the patch of which there will only be 100 available for the public. The goal is to raise awareness about autism acceptance and promote inclusion and connectedness. The patches cost $10 each with all proceeds going to the Milford Special Olympics. Those interested can come to Milford Police Headquarters and ask to pre-order a patch.
