The Milford Police Chief Selection Committee is reportedly zeroing in on candidates. Patch reports the committee is down to six candidates for the job after reviewing 18 applicants. Interviews with those six candidates are set to begin this week. The committee’s self-imposed deadline is September when interim Chief James Falvey retires. Officials say the public will get to meet the three or four final candidates when they are interviewed by the Select Board sometime later this month. Falvey has been the interim chief since Michael Pighetti was fired in October of 2021.
