Milford, MA – Two Michigan men have been arrested in connection with a multi-state shoplifting investigation, with ties to thefts at both Milford Target and Lowe’s earlier this month.

According to Milford Police Chief Robert Tusino, the suspects allegedly stole from the Milford Target and Lowe’s on March 2 and 3. Using a combination of investigative techniques and advanced technology, Milford Detectives successfully tracked the suspects back to Flint, Michigan, where Flint law enforcement identified them as being part of a larger theft operation responsible for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars in merchandise nationwide.

Among the reported losses, officials confirmed that the suspects stole $6,000 worth of merchandise from the Milford Target alone.

On March 10, law enforcement in Louisiana arrested the two individuals, along with several other suspects, as part of an ongoing investigation into the nationwide theft ring.

Authorities continue to investigate the full extent of the criminal operation. More details are expected to emerge as law enforcement agencies work to bring those responsible to justice.
