MILFORD – A Milford man arrested on federal gun trafficking charges is being held without bail following his arraignment Monday. Authorities say Caua Da Silva was arrested after a multi-agency investigation involving local police departments and federal agents that began last summer.
In a statement, the U.S. Attorney’s Office alleges Da Silva sold illegal firearms without a license to a confidential informant on multiple occasions, including a 3-D printed “ghost gun” with no serial number. Milford Police announced the arrest Tuesday following the federal court proceedings.
