MILFORD – A Milford man has been charged in connection with a scuffle with a Connecticut state trooper during a 2023 arrest related to an armed robbery.
Authorities say Robert Muller was extradited from Massachusetts to Connecticut last month for attempted assault, reckless endangerment, weapons charges and more for the encounter with troopers in Killingly.
According to officials, Muller was hit three times by a taser during the incident. The confrontation was later reviewed at the state level.
State officials confirm the case went to the state inspector general who ruled the trooper was justified in using deadly force against Muller.
