MILFORD – A Milford man has been arrested following a joint investigation by Milford Police and the Massachusetts State Police Cyber Crime Unit involving allegations of child sexual abuse material.
Police say investigators were already looking into Manuel Dafonte for the alleged production of child pornography when they received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children indicating that images had recently been created.
Milford Police arrested Dafonte at a local gas station while Massachusetts State Police simultaneously executed a search warrant at his home on Taft Street. The investigation remains ongoing.
