MILFORD – A Milford man is facing drug charges after police say an investigation into suspected cocaine distribution led to the execution of a search warrant at a local home.
According to Milford Police, detectives served the warrant Thursday evening at a residence on Prospect Heights following what they described as an extensive investigation. Officers say the target of the investigation, Davi De Oliveira Silva of Milford, attempted to flee as police approached the home but was quickly apprehended by several officers, including members of the department’s K-9 unit.
Silva is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, along with an enhanced charge alleging the offense occurred near a school or park.
