The Milford Legion Youth Baseball playoffs remain on hold following a fight at Monday night’s game. The fight began in the stands in the game between Milford Post 59 and East Springfield at Fino Field. The Daily News reports when the fight moved from the stands onto the field, the umpires, a manager and some players got involved and the teams were ordered off the field. The game did not resume last night, with the President of Post 59 saying Milford Police have asked them to hold off until they can ensure the game can be resumed safely. The tie game may have to be finished without spectators.
