MILFORD – Milford’s annual leaf removal program begins Monday, October 27.
The specific schedule for the town’s five routes and their pickup days is now available on the town website. Residents are asked to rake leaves to the edge of the sidewalk, or to the front property line if there is no sidewalk.
Town officials remind residents that, under town bylaws, leaves may not be swept onto streets or sidewalks — violators could face fines. Additionally, the collection equipment is for leaves only; no garbage or other debris will be picked up.
Those who miss their scheduled pickup can bring leaves to the Leaf Dump off Fiske Mill Road.
