MILFORD – Milford residents will have an opportunity to vaccinate their pets at the town’s upcoming Rabies Clinic.

The clinic is scheduled for Saturday, April 11 at the Milford Highway Department. Officials say updated guidelines mean pets receiving their first vaccine will be considered protected after 28 days, with coverage lasting one year.

Animals with proof of a prior rabies vaccination will be considered protected immediately after receiving the shot, which will be valid for three years. The cost is $20 per vaccination.
