By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – US Marshals and Milford Police have captured a Milford man accused of the hit-and-run of a woman and her child. Luis Tene was arrested Wednesday for the November 10 incident on Central Street in which police say he hit a woman who was walking while carrying her 2-year-old. Police say after Tene fled the scene, he also fled the state. Over the next ten days, Milford Police and US Marshals tracked him and when they got a tip he was coming back to Milford they picked him up near his home. Tene is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless endangerment of a child, and more.
