Students at Milford High School who have an interest in Zoology, Wildlife Conservation and Marine Biology will have the chance to visit some local watersheds and go whale watching thanks to a new science grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The District said in an announcement that the goal of the grant is to support hands-on learning for students as well as for faculty to explore scientific impacts on the region. Milford Science teacher Austin Costa will head up the program.
