By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – A 10-year-old Milford girl is in the hospital after being hit by a car Thursday morning near her school. Milford Police say the girl was crossing Congress near Brookside Elementary School when she was hit by the car. Police Chief Robert Tusino tells the Daily News the girl was not in a crosswalk and the driver, who stopped right away, said she just didn’t see her. Tusino says the driver is facing multiple infractions. The girl was taken to UMass-Memorial for treatment but officials say her injuries are not life-threatening.
