The Milford Fourth of July Parade will happen on Thursday, July 4, 2024 stepping off promptly at 10:00AM. The parade is looking to have all Americana-themed Floats, Marching Bands, Dance Troops, Classic Cars, Cheerleading Squads, Sports Teams, Boy Scout/Girl Scout/Brownie Troops, Organized Military Groups and any and all local businesses in this year’s parade. If you have an idea and want to be in the parade, they want you to be in it!
DETAILS TO KNOW ABOUT THE PARADE – THURSDAY, JULY 4, 2024
- Parade entry detail must be submitted to Milford Fourth of July Parade Committee no later than, June 28, 2024 by 12:00PM – Email the Friends for a form – [email protected]
- Participants must line up on parade day at the designated spot NO LATER THAN 8:30AM
- Event organizers will direct you on when to start moving, you may be stopped to allow for other units to enter the route
- Entries must have an “Americana” theme
- Participants may not toss candy or other objects into the crowd (parade insurance policy dictates this rule)
- There is no rain date. This event is rain or shine
- If and when a threat of lightning is evident, the parade committee will make a decision to cancel or proceed with the event

Parade Starting Point – Veteran’s Memorial Drive in Milford
Parade Route – The parade will travel down Route 16 in Milford
Parade End Point – Milford Police Station/Draper Park in Milford
