MILFORD – Two Milford fire trucks are being inspected after they were involved in a crash Wednesday. Fire Chief Mark Nelson tells the Daily News no one was hurt when a delivery truck hit Engine 4 and Ladder 1 in front of the Birch Street station as they were pulling out to respond to a call. Firefighters from Spruce Street responded instead. Nelson says Milford has a spare engine to replace Engine 4 but if they need a ladder truck they will have to call for mutual aid. So far the delivery driver has not been cited.
