All outdoor water use is now banned in Milford. Milford Water Department General Manager David Condrey announced Tuesday that due to drought conditions the town is now in a Stage IV Mandatory Outside Water Usage Ban. That is exactly what it sounds like – you may not use any irrigation systems, sprinklers or hoses at any time day or night for any reason. Condrey says the Milford Water Department does monitor for violators. The first violation is a warning but the second will result in them terminating your water service and it will be your expense to get it turned back on.
