MILFORD – Local artists are being invited to help celebrate America’s 250th anniversary through a new public art project.
The Milford Cultural Council is seeking design submissions for three picnic tables that will be painted with patriotic themes and installed at the pavilion of the Italian American World War II Veterans Post 40.
The project is open to student, amateur, and professional artists. Each selected artist will receive a $500 stipend for their winning design. Organizers hope to have the completed tables installed in time for Labor Day celebrations.
