MILFORD – Several local businesses are teaming up to help the residents displaced by Monday night’s fire that destroyed the Turtle Tavern building on Main Street.

Six people lived in the apartments on the second and third floors above the tavern. According to the Daily News, Cornell’s Irish Pub, Valley Pub, the Polish American Social & Civic Corp, and the Italian-American World War Veterans Post 40 have joined forces to collect donations for those affected.

They’re accepting gift cards, clothing, toiletries, hygiene products, blankets, bedding, and other household essentials. Donations can be dropped off at any of the participating locations.
