Following an armed standoff, Milford and Medway Police have helped capture a Fairvhaven man charged with attempted murder. Milford Police say Friday officers responded to a mutual aid request from Medway about an alert from Fairhaven Police regarding Zacary Travers who was on the run. Officers spotted him in his SUV at the Milford/Medway town line. They say when he pulled over they saw he was wearing body armor and pointing a gun at them. After a brief stalemate the officers were able to take Travers into custody. In addition to attempted murder, police say he is also facing assault and several weapons charges.
