MENDON – Mendon residents will have the chance to safely dispose of unwanted items during the town’s Annual Household Hazardous Waste Day and Document Shredding Day this weekend.
The event will take place Saturday, October 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Highway Department. It is open to Mendon residents only, and proof of residency will be required.
For a full list of accepted and prohibited items, residents can visit the town website. Document shredding will be handled by E.L. Harvey, and attendees will have the option to watch their documents being shredded on-site.
