By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Medway’s Veterans Day ceremony begins at 11am at the VFW on Holliston Street. The special guest speaker is Dr. Vincent Arone of Hopedale who was a member of the Army Air Force, serving in the Central Pacific theater as a Belly Gunner radio operator on the AB-24 Bomber of the 42nd Bomber Squadron. The 103-year-old Dr. Arone is the last surviving member of his aircrew and organizers say his story is exciting and enlightening. All veterans are invited to this ceremony to honor their service to our nation.
