By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Medway Public Schools has gotten a $60,000 state grant to help students with mental health challenges. Officials say the program is specifically aimed at addressing the effects of gun violence and other violence that occur at schools. The Daily News reports Medway will use the money to hire a clinician to work with middle and high schoolers with the Schools’ Wellness Director saying the demand for mental health care is so high, most kids are still on a waiting list to see someone and the Schools having their own clinician will help.
