By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Medway Police are commending a teller and other staff at Charles River Bank for helping an elderly couple about to fall prey to a scam. Chief William Kingsbury says the couple had been contacted by someone who convinced them that their daughter was in trouble and they needed to pay a large sum of money. But when they went to the bank to withdraw it, the teller recognized the scam and told her manager, who called the police. Chief Kingsbury wishes to publicly thank Tonia Marin and the Charles River Bank staff.
Is the tradition of trick or treating fading?
