By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Medway Police are concerned about a recent spike in opioid overdoses in the area. They say so far none have not been fatal, but they are reminding those who know someone dealing with substance abuse that any pills that are not obtained from a pharmacy should be assumed to contain Fentanyl which is often mixed into counterfeit pills as well as other drugs like in heroin, cocaine, meth, and other powdered substances. Medway Police say they have free Fentanyl test strips available with no questions asked.
