By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – The Medway Business Council is hosting a virtual event to talk about financial scams and how to avoid them. It’s Monday November 4 from Noon to 1pm. It will be presented by Medway Police Chief William Kingsbury, Medway Detective Sgt. Lauren Swarthout, Ann Sherry of Charles River Bank and Sarah Shaw of Middlesex Savings Bank. They will give examples of real scam stories and explain how to recognize a scam and what to do if you’re a victim. Register with a link on the Medway Business Council website.
