By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – Medway and Franklin are among about 200 towns to receive a piece of more than $4 million in grants from the state’s Sustainable Materials Recovery Program. The goal is to maximize towns’ abilities to recycle, compost, and otherwise cut down on the amount of waste going into landfills. The Franklin Recycling Dividends Program will receive $8,820 and the Medway Recycling Dividends Program will receive $9,000. The Dividends Program is based on how many options there are and how many households participate.
