MEDWAY – The Medway Food Pantry says it has surpassed three-quarters of its fundraising goal for a new permanent home that will unite the town’s two volunteer-run food pantries.
The planned facility will combine both operations into one location with expanded storage capacity, consistent operating hours, and a full client-choice shopping experience.
The organization is also encouraging donations through July 31st, when two matching gift campaigns will double every contribution made. Valvoline Instant Oil Change has pledged a $35,000 match, while the Nelson family has committed an additional $10,000, allowing donations to be matched dollar for dollar up to a combined $45,000.
