The Medway Fire Department confirms one firefighter was hurt in Sunday’s fire at the Waterside Run townhomes. Nine agencies responded to the fire and were able to keep the damage limited to the unit where it started. No residents were hurt and the firefighter has non-life-threatening injuries. The cause is under investigation. Fire officials thank Medway Police for evacuating residents so quickly that they were able to attack the main bulk of the fire fast. They also thank the Providence Canteen for supporting firefighters.
