By MyFM’s Claire Beverly – As Medway town officials continue to look at how they could build a new Public Safety Complex for Police and Fire, as well as a new Town Hall, the Select Board this week discussed ways to pay for it. They say with the work of the Town Manager and Finance Director they’ve developed a funding scenario that would not require a tax override or debt exclusion. But they say it would depend on revenue for a proposed battery energy storage system project. If that falls through, though, they would have to rethink it. You can watch the Select Board discussion on the town website.
